In this week's episode, Jaymes and Lloyd are joined by John Redwood, the JW Podcast Correspondent who's been on the ground in Thompson Falls, Montana. He's witnessed the Nunez vs. Watchtower court case and seen the jury give a damning verdict. Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York & the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will have to pay $4 million in compensation and $31 million in punitive damages to Alexis Nunez.
This verdict was handed down by the jury after a practising Jehovah's Witness, Max Reyes, sexually abused Alexis from 1994 to 2007 while they were in the Thompson Falls Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
John was right there in the courtroom during this trial and provides his insights into what happened, and how the Thompson Falls community reacted to this trial.
When will Watchtower learn that it has to let the authorities deal with Child Abuse? Listen to the show to see what the guys think.
